Tyrone Stanley Tyson, age 69, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018. He was born in the District of Columbia, October 18, 1948.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice D. Tyson, his father, James H. Tyson, and two brothers, James R. and Dennis A. Tyson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Aswell of Philadelphia, PA and Purnell Owens of Washington, DC; one brother, Sidney (Chemise); one sister, Shealia Tyson; two nieces, Sherae Taylor and Shanna (Jamel) McCauley; two nephews, Sidney and Kendall Tyson; five great- nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will extend our gratitude to all the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, to those of Behavior Techs and the RN staff for their attentiveness and loving care.
