Since 1900, with more than a century of tradition in sympathy and service, the Stewart Funeral Home staff averages over 25 years of association. In 1996, the beginning of the fourth generation of Stewarts joined the company, resulting in three generations currently working together serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan community and other global entities.

Stewart Funeral Home is the oldest continously family owned and operated minority funeral home and business in the District of Columbia. Most of our families served are third and fourth generation customers. We are proud of our history and tradition of providing professional services and expansive community services.
